These customers in Mobberley wanted their living room freshly decorated while the blinds and sofa upholstery were away for cleaning

Classic, simple lines are order of the day in this Cheshire country home
- I always take care to ensure all surfaces and furniture are protected while work is ongoing
- The colours were a Dulux match to Farrow & Ball. Two discreet contrasting walls against the larger off white area.
- Detailing is always very important. Ensuring neat straight lines where colours abut, around switches and sockets and that all gaps and cracks are sealed makes the difference between a great job and a shabby one
- Radiators were painted in satin to match the woodwork
- Some of the plaster behind the stove had crumbled so new heat resistant plaster was applied and painted
- The finished room. Same colours but freshened up and renewed
- Added value and re-use/recycle. I made discreet pipe collars from a cork tile backed with felt. Some draughty old pipe holes in the floorboards were filled with wine corks.
